Workshop: Mixology of Reds, Pinks, Purples & Oranges

Tis the season when Reds are everywhere! But what about all the varieties of red that range into pink, orange and purple? Tubed paints offer a wide range of reds from Cadmium’s to Magenta to Alizarin to Madders. How do you decide which to put on your palette? There’s only so much room there. In this one-day class we will mix a wide variety of colors from pink to purple and orange to help you decide which reds will work best for your paintings. We will also learn about how the paint colors from different manufacturers can vary from each other even though they may have similar or the same names.
