About the Event
This exciting one-day class is for anyone who would like to learn more about the wonderful mixture of cold wax and oils! Students choose to do paintings as an ABSTRACT….... or if a sea lover like your instructor, any sea creature, coral reef or ocean theme you may have in mind. If creating an ocean theme panting, Students will need to bring in several reference photos of the ocean subject they wish to create. Although using this medium will not create a photo realistic painting, it's always helpful to have plenty of reference photos for inspiration! If your choice is to do an abstract, there are so many ways to use this incredible medium “abstractly”. This class offering is also just in time for RAL's upcoming October show with the theme: “Water-Above and Below”.
